Constanza Piaggio (b.1982) is an Argentinean photographer whose emotive work ranges from staged portraiture to abstract artist interventions. This image is from her series, La Trampa (The Trap), which contemplates the multiplicities of life, including success and failure, and cause and effect. She is also well-known for her collaboration with RES on their series, Conatus. Piaggio’s work can be found in multiple collections, including the Fundación Osde and Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes in Argentina, as well as in the Chrystler Museum of Art in West Virginia, USA.
